My love for chemical developed when I had started studying chemistry in my school days. I loved the organic chemistry the most and the complications about the chemical structures developed a keen interest in me.To be honest, I was unaware of what chemical engineers do and what the industry is like. I could not imagine it due to lack of exposure and information.
After completing my elementary education I took the 3 core subjects Physics, Chemistry, Maths in my Secondary education which are essential for studying engineering. I managed to get a place in DCR University of Sci & tech., Murthal. I am supposed to be graduated in 2014.
In my graduation years I have done the practical training at Indian Oil Corp. one of the Maharatna's of India & the highest GDP contributing company in India. During my training period I learned about the plant process and operation & I was responsible for mass balancing the various units at the plant. Being in a process plant is a perfect place to learn and put in practice your unit operation knowledge. It also gave me a better comprehension on what process control is all about. I learned about other supporting units like heat exchangers, cooling towers, boilers, utility boilers and much more. The learning curve continued everyday and never stopped.
My love for writing inspired me to create this blog. I'm glad to be a part of chemical engineering.
